Nature of questions


All the questions of the Hindi language paper are mandatory, for which the candidate has to write in Hindi (if not specified in any particular question).

In this question paper are usually asked 6 questions which are divided into more than one subdivision. For each question, the word boundary for the answer and the prescribed points for it are kept in front of the question.


This question paper is of 300 marks total
.


According to the present examination system, the first question of this question paper is related to essay writing, in which essay writing is written in about 600 words on any one of the 4 different subjects given. 100 points have been set for this.

The second question is related to passage, in which the answer to 5-6 questions based on the given passage is written. 60 points have been set for this.

The third question is related to writing (Precis), in which the sum of approximately one-third (1/3) of the given passage is written in the summary. 60 marks have been fixed for this.

The fourth and fifth questions are related to the translation (translation), in which the Hindi translation of 'Hindi Gadhyansh' is done in English and 'English Gadhishans in Hindi'. For each, 20-20 points (total 40 digits) have been determined.

The sixth question is related to Grammar, under which questions related to the sentences of Corrections of sentences, Idioms / Phrases, Antonyms, synonyms etc. are asked. 40 points have been set for this.



Strategy for IAS Exam Qualifying Paper


Although the marks obtained in this question paper are not added to the merit list of the main exam but it is mandatory to get Qualifying Marks in it.

The minimum qualifying marks for this paper are 25% (75 points), i.e., until a candidate completes the minimum qualification marks in the qualifying English language paper along with the question paper in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution. 75 marks), not yet evaluated the answers papers of his other papers (essay, general study and optional subject) Gets.

This paper for English medium candidates is a bit difficult (because the language of their study and writing at the school and college / university level is usually English). In order to get good marks in the Hindi paper, good knowledge of Hindi grammar (inverse, synonyms, idioms, word-combination, etc.), summarisation writing, unread choreography, essay writing etc are necessary.

If you write a good essay and also do an average writing in the questions related to the scripts and summaries, then you will be in a position to get more marks than the qualifying issue in this paper.

For essays and summaries, you can regularly study the editorial of a daily newspaper like Hindi daily such as Dainik Jagran (National edition).

For Hindi grammar, a book called 'Vasudevanandan Prasad' and 'Hardev Bahri' can be studied in the 'General Hindi and Grammar' book.
